Wordle is a free online game. Guess the 5-letter word in six tries. Play instantly — no install, no waiting. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
The system randomly selects a 5-letter English word, and you have 6 chances to guess it. Each time you enter a 5-letter word and submit it, each letter changes color: green means that the letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means that the letter is in the word but in the wrong position, and gray means that the letter is not in the word.
Gradually narrow the range according to the color prompts: green letters lock the position, yellow letters need to be changed, and gray letters are excluded. The strategy is to try words that contain common letters (such as SLATE, CRANE) first and quickly eliminate letters that do not exist.
The word list is from commonly used English words, and the answers are updated daily (or randomly each time they are refreshed). Color feedback is implemented using CSS background-color, and the keyboard will also change color simultaneously to help reasoning.
